Mian Asif Mehmood (a politician, Philanthropist, Blogger, Activist, Analyst & Author) is an advocate by profession in Pakistan and he is Provincial President for Punjab of a national political party known as Amun Taraqqi Part (ATP).  Further he is the founder member of the Youth Bar Association (YBA-PAKISAN) of Pakistan (a non-profit organization striving for the welfare of the youth in the legal fraternity). He established a first (Lawyers’ Welfare Cum commercial Hospital) “The Cliniks Healthcare” in Lahore which is providing free healthcare services to the advocates but on the other hand it is being operated commercially for the masses.    

He is also doing a current affairs program “End Note” at digital Television, ANN TV Pakistan and he used to write blogs at www.geoblogonline.blogspot.com

His first book was “The Constitution of Pakistan” and his another Book “Law of Negligence & Malpractice in Pakistan” is coming soon, which would be the first piece of writing on this topic by a Pakistani writer.

Mian Asif Mehmood started his legal career by an internship with (Zafar & Mandviwala) Barrister Ali Zafar, then he joined to the leading & famous advocate of Pakistan, (striving for the public interest litigation in Pakistan) A.K Dogar.  

He is studying Human Rights Laws & international Law for his M. Phil degree program thus he is strongly in favor of uplift of Human Rights in Pakistan & Rule of Law. He is also working for the “Access to Justice” and established “Rapid Justice Movement” (RJM) for the administration of justice rapidly, fairly, impartially & freely. Consequently he is a pioneer to raise the voice actively against the police brutalities in Punjab and advised for the “Police Reforms” to the Government.   

Mian Asif Mehmood contested leading matters including Motorway Rape Case, Sahiwal Encounter Case, Umair Murder case at Sabza Zar where a young man namely umair was being murdered by the Dolphin Police.
